This park is not far away at all…about 5 mins depending on which entrance you go choose. Great scenery for leisurely walks on paved paths or you can step off the path and do some light to moderate hiking in the thick of it.

Local park with 3.1 mile multipurpose trail around the lake. Big playground with lots of lawn surrounding it for kite flying, playing soccer, or just laying in the grass watching the clouds go by.
