Thank you for watching At the time of Muslim occupation, under the reign of Al-Motamid, it was decided to drain a lagoon that occupied the area we know today as Buhaira ("al-buhaira", by the way, means "lagoon"). Thanks to three botanists - Ibn-Bassal, Abu I-Jair and Ibn Hayay - it will become a recreation area.
