Phone to book first if you are going to have a meal, as this is quite a popular restaurant/bar. Check out the menu and prices on-line first if possible. More 'up market' then e.g. Wetherspoons. I think it is dog friendly? It might be best to drive there as it is quite a walk

20mins by car: A total favourite, this has exceptional food, and simply the best Sunday lunch around. A huge array of wines and gins, with a beautiful outside eating and drinking area. Very cosy with a lovely atmosphere. Advisable to book especially at the weekends, lunch and dinner.
