I meant Limmat not the boat...anyway walk along Limmat river, drink, eat, pic-nic, swim, relax. All the way from the lake to Werdinsel.

Make use of your public transportation ticket!! The Limmatschiff, a little boat is free when you buy a day ticket for Zurich (zone 110). Hop on it at the station "Landesmuseum" and go past "Bellevue" on the lake til "Zurich Horn" and enjoy a nice walk back alond the lake to the Opera House.
