Take a walk here and you won't regret it. "La explanada de España" it's another of the symbols of the city. Beautiful and charming, with a lot of things to do (there's a fair, childs will love it!)

Ferry, 5 min. walking from the apartament. A visit to Tabarca island is an absolute must for visitors. Boats from the company Kontiki depart from the marina in Alicante several times a day during the summer months. In low seasons confirm timetables beforehand. The journey takes around one hour from Alicante. The route will give you the opportunity to enjoy the coastline. Try one of the traditional fish stews on the terrace of one of the restaurants. Also, on the island, you will find nice little bays to swim in, as well as a beach offering different facilities. If you decide to stay overnight on the island, there are also little hotels peppered along it. A walk on the Expanada de España is a nice thing to do, a lot of indoor and outoor restaurants, covered by the big trees- it's a good ascape form direct sun on hot summer days.

This is a typical walk on the seaside, beside the port of Alicante, where palm trees and the design of the tiles, make this place very nice to take a picture and relax during the visit of the city.
