“Hidden inside a little courtyard off Via Ruggero Settimo, this long-standing Palermitan favourite specialised in low-cost snacks, including delicious arancinette (rice balls filled with meat sauce) and divine panzerotti (stuffed fried dough pockets). The latter come in countless delectable varieties: ricotta and mint, squash blossoms and cheese, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and anchovies, just to name a few” (excerpt from the Lonely Planets. A hidden place not touristy yet. One of the oldest fried-food-shop in the city. Very cheap, unmissable!

Here you can experience surely one of the 3 best place to taste our local "rosticceria mignon". Always hand made and just taken out from the oven. It's not cheap at all, but this is also because it is just in the main shopping street of the center, but amazingly well hidden!
