One of the best places to eat local cuisine. This is more family friendly, so it might be slightly loud. Prices are very moderate and both food and service are excellent. If you want to eat rabbit, this is the place to go.

Il-Barri Restaurant is a family-run restaurant and is very popular with the locals. It offers authentic Mediterranean cuisine as well as local dishes. Opens everyday for lunch and dinner (except Mondays).

Mgarr is a small farming town which is built around a beautiful church. The restaurant itself simply wonderful, specializing in local dishes such as Rabbit and Horsemeat (which are both delicious) but also has a large and varied menu including pastas, burgers, seafood and some of the best pizzas you will find anywhere, all at crazy low prices
