Tuesday is market day, Friday and Saturday run a general market too. Look out for a great cheese counter, eggs, local honey. Pick up fruit and veg and home baked breads and jams on other stalls. Check out the website for flea markets, craft fairs and artisan markets running on other days/monthly.

If you’re exploring a little further afield into Monmouthshire then stop off In Abergavenny and visit the market hall. Check which days it is on, we prefer Saturdays. We never leave without a bag full of freshly baked Welsh Cakes, fruit and vegetables. There’s a fantastic butchers a short walk away in the town.
