Me and a couple of friends decided to go to NYC for a long girly weekend. We wanted somewhere affordable in Manhattan and this place caught our eye. It was the first time we used Airbnb so were a little apprehensive as it looked too good to be true- turned out it was even better than we imagined! We stayed end of November/beginning of December, the heating came on automatically so the flat was real warm and cosy. I think the flat looks bigger in real life than in the photos. The sofa bed was bigger than the double bed, lots of space to throw around our bits and pieces we made ourselves quite at home! Going to sound random but have to say the bed sheets were A.M.A.Z.I.N.G the softest ever! It’s such a lovely flat, it honestly took some convincing to get one of my friends to leave the place! My two friends carry ear plugs everywhere, so if you are bugged by the littlest noise... Then you probably shouldn't stay in the city that never sleeps!! But seriously if you are super sensitive then don’t forget your ear plugs. But we didn’t have problems tho, even the fussy sleepers. I’m a little funny about cleanliness, but Natalie’s place was super duper clean! She provided towels, there was even a hair dryer, curler, and straighteners (I think), so ideal for us girls. I don’t remember if any one used the straightners but the hair dryer and curlers were fab, if we go back we would leave ours at home for sure. For some reason we couldn’t get the TV to work but watched a DVD instead. The wifi was very handy. Location wise, everywhere we wanted to go we caught a cheap cab ride away. We didn’t use the subway so can’t comment on distance but I believe it was a short walk away. Only problem you might have is if you don’t do stairs. The flat is a couple of flights up, there’s no elevator so if you have problems with that you might want to give this place a miss. But us three girls had no problem carrying our really big suitcases up and down. About Natalie, she was quick to reply to emails real friendly and helpful answering our all our random questions! Our trip was a few weeks after the hurricane struck. I asked if everything was okay and she replied back saying everything was. Even tho we didn't ask, she sent a second mail with photos of the local area just to make sure we were at ease. How nice was that?? In short, if you want an immaculately clean, modern, nicely decorated flat in Manhattan, which for some unknown reason is available at a bargain price you won’t be disappointed. I think it’s ideal for a small group of girls (4 happily), or great for a couple, due to it being so nicely decorated and the girly appliances available, but I don’t...

Very nice apartment and really clean and confortable. Location is incredible to visit NYC. Natalie is a perfect host and very kind. She recomend us places and restaurants and gave us maps and information regarding NYC. We have felt like in our own house.
