Andrea ist ein wunderbarer, netter Gastgeber, der immer sofort auf Anfragen reagiert und bei Problemen nach Lösungsmöglichkeiten sucht! Leider haben wir ihn nicht persönlich kennengelernt. Der Empfang, war, trotz verspäteter Ankunft, problemlos und sehr herzlich (von seiner Mutter). Wir haben auch ein paar notwendige Lebensmittel dazu bekommen (Kaffee, Kekse, Toast).
Das Haus ist leider ein wenig dunkel, dafür aber kühl im Sommer. Die "Dachterrasse" ist leider schwierig zu erklimmen, da die Stufen sehr steil sind. Nicht geeignet um dort, z.B zu frühstücken. Ein bisschen laut geht es auch morgens und abends zu (Abends Pizzeria, morgens Straßenlärm, Müllabfuhr usw.), was für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf eher schwierig ist. Die Küche ist schön groß und man kann sich sehr gut selbst versorgen. Das Highlight ist die Nähe zum tollen Strand (ca. 10 Minuten), allerdings nichts für Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen, da man 240 Stufen runter und wieder hoch muss. Aber ansonsten sehr schön!

We thoroughly enjoyed our five day stay. The house was clean and well equipped and we made a number of meals there. Parghelia is a small and quiet village with good facilities and beaches ( we particularly liked La Grazia beach towards Tropea) and is ideal for visiting Tropea, 3 minutes on the train or half an hour on foot.
We didn't meet Andrea, his mum met us and let us into the house, but Andrea's communication was good both before and during our stay.
Parking outside the property was easy.
No air conditioning at the house, but a fan was provided, which was very welcome in the heat. Having a washing machine was also good.
The only part of the house we didn't like was the downstairs sitting room, which was dark and smelt damp, so we didn't use it.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at Andrea’s home. The property is gorgeous and has everything you could need. The station and the beach are both within short walking distance and the town is beautiful and quintessentially Italian. Andrea himself is incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful - If you are looking to stay near Tropea you must stay here.

la casa si trova a 10 minuti dalla bellissima spiaggia del michelino con tutti i servizi a pochi mt. Inoltre con pochi minuti di auto si raggiungono altre bellissime spiagge dai mari cristallini. L'ideale è non preferire il mese di agosto ,per via della forte affluenza turistica, anche se cercando si trovano posti non troppo affollati. La casa è un terra-tetto di cui abbiamo sfruttato la terrazza che di sera ha sempre avuto una gradevole temperatura
