I wish I could write a raving review as I initially intended, but that is no longer the case. I do NOT recommend Victor’s place if you are a solo traveler, need to adjust your trip, or looking for any kind of accommodation from a host.
While staying in the apartment, the upstairs neighbor/owner of the building (who is not Victor) entered a section of the leasing at 1:30AM and tinkered around for almost an hour; with no announcement or acknowledgement of his presence so late at night. Because I was traveling by myself, I reached out to Airbnb and 911 for help. when requesting some kind of compensation for the inconvenience, Victor’s entire tune changed, telling me the best he could do was a $50 refund and how “he didn’t have to offer one in the first place”, citing “inconvenience” because I shortened my trip (due to a emergency).
The tub was dirty, and there was a pile of things poorly concealed behind the couch rather than put away or cleaned up. I would not recommend this home.
