Mike and I are married for more than 25 years, have 5 children and 9 grand children. We built alot of good memories with our families and friends in this house. We both love to travel, enjoy Jazz, Opera, broadway shows and read a lot. I love to cook and entertain. I am from India and Mike is Italian from THE Bronx NY. The layout of the house is SO unique. We loved the two totally separate sleeping quarters and many bathrooms. Though the furniture is outdated/torn, the spaces were very comfortable and cozy. The river was AMAZING, best feature of the house IMO. We spent every day down by the water, then cozied up to the firepit after dinner. The kitchen has everything you may need and is large, however, is grubby overall and was in need of a deep clean.

There was a terrible hornet infestation on the back porch area while we were at the property. 2 guests were stung. We visibly saw many hornets nests that needed attending to.

Alot of the fixtures around the house were broken or outdated or torn. Needs some updating, but overall an amazing camp in the woods. If you go into thinking "camp" you will have a fun filled experience!

Overall we loved it here!

Overall beautiful property. Mani was responsive to our concerns, however two issues came up, which we did not expect for the price we paid. We saw mice in the living room twice. I contacted Mani and he offered to have terminex spray the house while we were there. As you can imagine, having professionals in the property spraying chemicals during our stay is not the ideal solution in COVID times and when you have a toddler running around the house. In addition, it rained for a day while we were there and the roof leaked in multiple spots including on top of the dining table.
We were refunded 5% of our total because of these issues, but that does not nearly cover for the inconvenience. It was a trip to celebrate a special occasion and I expect certain quality standards when I pay $500+ per night, the basic of which is not having to deal with mice in the dining room.

This cabin was beautifully designed and had a well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the location and had ample space for our family to gather and enjoy. There were some maintenance issues (some windows lacking screens, sink drain stuck, exposed screws in bed frame) and some areas that needed a better cleaning (cobwebs, items found in the couch, flossing stick in the bedroom). The biggest challenge for our family was the beds. All but 2 had futon cushions instead of real mattresses. This lead to uncomfortable sleep for nearly all of us. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would not stay again unless the mattresses and a few other issues were addressed.
