The actual apartment is beautiful. It's a great size, decorated with style, the location is *phenomenal*. The host was incredibly helpful with helping me plan my stay as well as providing assistance during my stay. The neighborhood it is located in will not disappoint! The only thing to be aware of, which is not the host's fault, are the neighbors due to the location of the apartment in the building. It's a centrally located apartment on the first floor. So you have noise to the left and right and above you. If you are used to or like hearing people around you, it's no big deal. If you are not used to it, it could be a bit distracting.

This is such the perfect spot in a really lovely neighborhood, a block from the National Cathedral. The apartment is clean, warm and cozy and steps from a bunch of great restaurants, coffee shops, groceries and other attractions. If you have a student at American University this is an ideal spot to stay and not feel the need to rent a car (though there is parking provided). It's about a 20-minute Uber from Capitol Hill/the National mall area and the bus/metro are great, reliable options as well. We will definitely look into staying here again next time we visit.

Do NOT stay! The apartment is old and does not match the listing photos. There was damage to the furniture, a leaking hole in the ceiling, rust in the kitchen, lots of damage in the bathroom. The building is noisy, smelt of smoke and in a sketchy location very far from things to do in DC. You need a car to get around. It states self check-in but that was not available. The water in the building was shut off one day at 8:30am by 7:30pm when the water was still not turned back on, I asked for a refund so that I could go stay some where with water, the host was argumentative, said it was not his fault and denied the refund! Also seemed over priced for the size and amenities regardless of all the issues I had.

Patrick was really great from the day booking his place to the day after checked out and it’s a great spot. The location offered stunning views and easy access to local attractions, making it an ideal choice for travelers. Throughout our stay, he was responsive and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable experience. The amenities provided were top-notch, adding to the overall enjoyment of our trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.
