juin 2024I mean no disrespect, I just don’t feel it was fairly priced nor honestly worth renting. Including the $75 “cleaning fee”, taxes, and rental for 1 night it cost right at $200 per night.
It’s an older fishing boat and REEKS of mildew and mold. The carpet is stained and gross, respectfully.
When we arrived (way later than check in) the beds were bare, no sheets, pillow cases, or blankets.
We also could not find which dock it was at as there are a lot of boats there. Plus all the other boats there take people out to fish so they were out all night cleaning fish and out early in the morning loading to take tourists out to fish.
It was an experience for sure, not 100% all bad though. Grateful he allowed us to stay on his boat, I just don’t feel the price point is fair and don’t want someone else getting blind sided by the smell like we were.

juin 2024Boat was in a marina between other boats. Super quiet and easily accessible from the parking lot. Only issue was that Jacob told me when I arrived that the a/c leaks. Only problem was that it leaks on the big bed in the stateroom. Had to sleep on the bunk bed which wasn't ideal since I'm a big guy. It was cool in the boat but definitely not cold enough for my taste. Light switches were kind of confusing as well. Some worked, some didn't. The lights that did work weren't all that bright. I had a good stay but it could have been better.
