My wife and I were driving down from Quebec and found this gem of a home with Loraine and her husband as the host. What a warm and welcoming duo these two were. A lovely guesthouse with all the amenities needed. I saved this place so that we can stay a bit longer next time.

My wife and I had planned a long weekend getaway touring the New England states during fall foliage. After leaving Maine and starting our return trip home, we looked to air B&B for a “cozy cabin” type retreat for the evening layover. All I can say is Loraine and Dean have a hidden gem of a property. There was something that I can describe that reset the soul and offered an abundance of calming from the hectic world.

After checking in, we decided to check out a recommended restaurant called the Barn - if I recall correctly. Again, no disappointment. The steak and halibut were delicious and the staff were top notch with great personalities and professional service.

After our wonderful night sleep we awoke to the daylight and the beautiful surroundings. My wife and I enjoyed a morning walk taking in all the details of a life long commitment to their property. I am very happy my wife stumbled across the gem.

We had an enjoyable and relaxing time at Loraine's listing. Felt right amidst all the nature surrounding us.

Loraine's cabin is a great place to unplug and enjoy being the perfect distance away from a ton of local, beautiful natural surroundings and towns. relaxing by the wood burning fireplace, star gazing and visiting some of the coolesr places to visit for fall in New York. sorta becoming a tradition to get away with family here when we can!
