Chateau De La Fuye ticked every single box for us …. charming, cosy, comfortable, generously appointed, stylish decor, private and the many little comforts which added to our wonderful experience. The grounds of the estate were lovely, as are the many local villages, chateau’s, markets and wineries. Overall a very pleasant experience, with numerous helpful recommendations for restaurants, wine bars/wineries and attractions from our very gracious host Rowena. A must stay if visiting the Loire.

Our stay at chateau de la Fuye was superlative in every way. From the beautiful and serene location, to the kind and attentive staff, Darren and Connie, including Wisty and Daffy, every effort was made to make us feel welcome. We took full advantage of all the chateau offered and had a most peaceful and relaxing stay.

Absolutely stunning. The property was beautiful and the accomodations were very modern and comfortable dispite the rustic setting. Renting e-bikes from the estate is an absolute must. The surrounding countryside and town of Chinon are beautiful and the bikes are the best way to take it all in!

Chateau de la Fuye is spectacular! Every detail from the architecture, decor, amenities is a 5 star plus rating! Anything you need is here in this beautiful oasis! It truly is a magical location that is a peaceful relaxing and yet so close to Chinon and all it has to offer! From day 1 Rowena was so responsive , helpful and so easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the mornings and evenings on the back patio with only the wonderful sounds of the peacock and chickens. When we arrived we enjoyed the wonderful goodies they left us! It was above and beyond our expectations! Darren and Connie were available should we need anything and they were both so helpful! The location is perfect for visiting the wineries and chateaus of the Loire Valley.
