Our family of 14 across 3 generations has given up gifting: we take a Christmas family vacation. The gives Cousins total Emersion experiences. This large private home has the perfect configuration: two large indoor gathering areas along with a huge outdoor entertainment area on the waterway. The inlet is quite narrow therefore not busy or noisy like the New River into which it flows.
We always had breakfast at home, with provisions for full family meal prep provided. Excellent internet and tv access. Private outdoor balcony’s from five bedrooms.
Bill, our host gave us prompt answers to inquiries about close by groceries, etc. Very professional.

Great location! Spacious accommodations!

We just had a lovely stay with our extended large family for 10 days .
Bill was extremely responsive and attentive to all our needs . We all had plenty of space. The bedrooms were large and spacious. Beds were very comfortable.
The outdoor space was also spacious and lovely .
Some parts of the house could use updating but other than that we had a wonderful time .

This home is over priced for the condition it was in when we arrived. Photos posted would justify almost 3k a night rental but in reality, this home fell short of that. The front of the house appears to be in the middle of a remodel (thankfully, because it needs it). There was construction and building supplies scattered around (pavers, wood, etc). This was not communicated to us by the home owner at time of booking. The outdoor kitchen is very underwhelming for a house of this price. Be careful if using the dryer. The vent is broken and ruined 3 bathing suits. I attempted to contact the owner through text and email to bring these things to his attention but he never responded. The location, size, and bedrooms (nicely decorated, comfy beds and pillows) are nice but this house needs better upkeep (to justify the price tag being asked).
