We stayed at Simons place for two weeks. It is in a great location and is well maintained with nice new furniture. It's right in the middle of Shoreditch but tucked away.
On arrival the bathroom floor was dirty but Simon sent the cleaner over straight away. The hot water in the kitchen didn't work but got repaired after a day or two and was fine for the rest of the stay.
The kitchen is well stocked, although there wasn't anything to clean the floors with and we were there for two weeks. When we asked though Simon sent over the cleaner.
Unfortunately the last two days the wifi didn't work and there didn't appear to be much effort to fix it, maybe because we were leaving.
Our particular unit was a little dark and didn't get much day light just because of where it was located in the courtyard but there was a small balcony area which was nice.

Simon was a great host and checked in with us to make sure we were settled in ok. The place was clean and cosy with good instructions.
The one thing to note is the building is being painted both inside and outside so there can be a strong smell of paint in the hallway and rooms.
The shower had good pressure and the linen was soft, one unfortunate oversight on our part is a UK King size bed is smaller than an Australian queen, completely our fault but any people looking to book from down under should be aware!
Overall good stay in a great location.

Excellent location and quiet enough in the evenings. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Simon is a great host! He is very responsive and constantly checking in to see how you are settling in.
The place was very clean.
The location for us was spot on! Right next to Liverpool Street station which was perfect.
