août 2024Small home but perfect for what we needed. Had my son and his family visiting and just needed a place for them to lay their heads, this was perfect. All around easy stay for them and they loved it. Great price. Thank you Jen will definitely have them stay again next time they visit.

juillet 2024The location is exceptional. On the edge of the forest, with fireflies in the evening, gorgeous!
I had bookmarked the place weeks before because a washer was essential in our road trip, asked the owner if there was one, wondered why there was only the drier listed when booking, thought it was a mistake as I got no answer, and in the end it was indeed absent. This was not cool. Supposed to have been replaced now.
The place is well kept. Quite noisy during the week-end but very peaceful during the week.
A bit better than some previous comments say. But a filter coffee machine with no coffee and no filters provided, a BBQ with no coal, no lighter....
We left there a lot of things, including a huge cooler , that we couldn't take on the plane, and that we hope will be useful to future guests. I wish the place we had left it were one with top provisions. Overall, I will recommend. Top location.

juillet 2024Unfortunately we had a bad experience with this listing. It is much smaller than the photos show, and is not worth what it is being charged for, as we had stayed at another AirBnB previously that was about five times the size and much closer to Lake Hopatcong for much less.
Jen also didn’t respond to me the two times I had reached out which left a bad taste.
The listing states that it’s not suitable for under 2 year olds, however I would recommend the age increase, as it certainly wasn’t safe for my disabled 3 year old son.
The backyard has no fence and sits right on a heavily wooded area, so anything could wander in. Cleaning supplies were left in easy to reach places with no locks on the doors, which were flimsy. The aircon isn’t strong and the room with the bunk beds was incredibly stuffy, where the dryer also resides which I assume would make said stuffiness worse.
Other than that, it’s a cute, cosy place for two adults at most, but definitely not worth what’s being charged.
