Staying here was an absolutely perfect choice. The location couldn’t have been better – close to the most beautiful beaches, yet in a calm and welcoming area, right in the heart of a traditional Greek village. The people were so kind, and we loved having three excellent restaurants nearby.

Our host, Carl, was wonderful: he welcomed us warmly, left us some food to enjoy on arrival, and shared great tips on what to see and do in Corfu. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The cottage in Doukades is exactly as shown in the photos. The host was very kind and welcoming, and everything needed for a stay was provided. However, the cottage is really quite small, so if you are used to larger accommodations, you might find it a bit tight. It’s also not very bright inside, for those who prefer light and airy rooms, it may feel a little dark. The bathroom is also very small, but again, it had everything necessary. Overall, it’s a cozy place that matches the description, with a helpful host, but keep in mind the compact size and limited natural light.
Doukades itself is a beautiful little village – quiet, peaceful, with very friendly people, and we really enjoyed being there. We especially enjoyed dining in the local tavernas, and our favorite was Taverna Elizabeth – the food there was excellent, the staff very friendly, and we can truly recommend it.

Dukades is a charming and welcoming village, with lovely restaurants serving traditional Corfiot dishes. Carl was an amazing host – warm, friendly, and always ready to help us with anything we needed.
