Enjoyed a few nights in Alfama. The apartment is on a small laneway with pedestrian traffic only, so it was very quiet at night. The apartment is small, but comfortable and attractive. The air conditioner worked well to keep the space cool in the heat of the afternoon. The kitchen had a stove, oven, and microwave.
We walked all over the old city. There are lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. It's a short walk to Santa Apolonia train station longer distance trains.
There was no dishwasher. There was no washing machine, but there is a laundromat a very short walk away.

Description matched the place. Quiet area but surrounded by hidden gems - delicious local restaurants/cafes and a great tattoo artist up the street! Few streets away from the water. Perfect if you like calm and quiet , away from the touristy areas.

Really convenient location right in middle of Alfama and near everything. Very calm location, safe and easy to access. Rita was super easy to communicate with, very quick to respond and she immediately sorted out a small issue with equipment that we had. Many thanks Rita and Bruno for a lovely stay in Lisbon!!
