We had a beautiful stay at Sanah. It was our first time in Tulum and we didn’t want to stay right in the beach zone, and Sanah is quite out of the way. From the road, you’d have no clue there is something so quiet and beautiful just behind the unassuming door. It looks a bit like a church from the road, but once you enter it is very much a sanctuary. Our room was exactly like the photos — we had an excellent couple’s massage on the property, and the breakfast spreads they offer are delicious. The staff really goes out of their way. We had daily housekeeping, the “outdoor” shower is perfect, and the grounds are immaculately kept. This is so much better than staying in some cookie cutter hotel. We plan to return with our daughters in February. Great place!

Me and my husband stayed here for 7 days for our honeymoon. We loved it but also wanna share some tips. A heads up. There is no microwave or kitchen. It is just a mini fridge, so keeping leftovers or heating up food was not an option. #1 try to keep the bathroom and door to the outside closed as much as possible. Make sure your room is always cold or it can get very humid quickly because of rain. There is openings for mosquitoes in the bathroom so we got bug spray from the store. #2 SUPERAKI is the spot! they are the best options/priced local supermarket. There is one two minutes away and 5 minutes away on scooter. #3 only buy from places that have prices already on the items. They will easily upprice you at most small souvenir stores and they all have the same stuff. #4 playa de palmas is an amazing safe beach. Park at “hotel playa de palmas” its only $5 usd. #6 TRANSPORTATION, for the tulum airport go through the Villa for $190usd (better than taxi) and scooter was $40/24hr cash only
