Some of the finest materials from around the world came together to build this contemporary villa, but the beach views are signature Bali. Spot petrified wood, American oak, Italian Carrara marble, and Australian window treatments throughout the breezy open-concept interiors. Follow the steps down to the private beach and walk the black sands of Cemagi, or visit Seminyak and the Tanah Lot temple.

 Your holiday at this luxury property begins with an airport transfer and welcome drink, and includes chef, driver, and housekeeping services. When you’re not on the beach, there are inviting outdoor living areas with an infinity pool, lounging and dining areas, a barbecue, a ping-pong table, and a wet bar. In the evenings, a media room with a satellite TV and Wi-Fi are waiting to entertain indoors.

 This vacation rental was designed by French architect Fredo Taffin, who also envisioned chic Bali hot spot Ku De Ta, and much of its furniture was custom created by Detlev Hauth, a German designer now based in Indonesia. The international influence and local inspiration show in open-concept rooms, clean-lined furnishings, and fold-away glass walls that bring the landscape inside.

 The villa has four bedrooms with king beds—two with ocean views and two with their own terraces—and one bedroom with a queen bed. All five bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, and together they can accommodate groups of up to 10 friends or family.

 The house’s beachfront location in the Kecamatan Mengwi area is the perfect setting for a honeymoon-worthy stroll on the black volcanic sand. Try surfing the popular break at Echo Beach, tee off at top-ranked Nirwana Bali Golf Course, watch the sunset at Tanah Lot Sea Temple, and head into downtown Seminyak for an afternoon of shopping or evening drinks at one of its lively bars.
