Anyone wanting to learn how to surf or some extra tuition, the schools fully qualified instructors will help you make the most of your surfing session. They also provide surf and beach equipment hire. Book online early as they get booked up fast!

Haven't tried it yet but heard nothing but good reports. They cater specifically for surf lessons from beginner to intermediate levels and SUP Lessons for flat water, exposed waters and wave surfing. They also offer full hire facilities and demo kit available allowing you to try before you buy.

feeling active and wanting to enjoy the good weather head to Whitby surf school. they can also sort paddle boards. they are based down on the beach near the beach huts, about a 10/15 minute walk away
