Best views on the island at the mouth of Tampa bay. Excellent fishing and most likely place to see Manatees and Dolphins.

Beautiful views of Tampa Bay, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, and Egmont Key. This is also a popular spot for dolphin watching, and it is not unusual to see manatees and schools of sting rays in the are as well. Fishing is also common on the pier. When the tide is low, this also a great shelling area. Across the street from the pier is a great, locally owned ice cream shop Two Scoops. We love to get an ice cream and then enjoy it while we sightsee on the pier.
